Route 66 Bristow – Car, Truck, Bike & Tractor Show

Saturday, October 11th 2014

The Bristow car show has been around for over a decade and has seen growth each year. What started off in a parking lot at the bank, now requires our town to close main street and allows us to mingle around beautiful cars, trucks, bikes, and even tractors. It is an event that brings both locals and people from out of state together.

Since the beginning, the show has been held on Labor Day weekend. This year, we are moving it to the Second Saturday in October. This will hopefully help with the heat and make a more enjoyable day. Rain or Shine… this show will go on!

This year, the Bristow Area Chamber of Commerce was asked to take over the show. The Elias family has stepped back to enjoy the show. We are lucky they have been available to answer the questions that keep popping up, and we are grateful for their confidence.

We are currently knee deep in the planning stages and ready for volunteers, ideas, and workers. If you would like to be involved in the car show, by either as a participant or volunteer, please contact the chamber at 918-367-5151.

Not only is Bristow known for having some of the most beautiful cars enter our show, we also have some of the BEST vendors. From Bar-b-Que to candles, it if has something that could be considered useful when cruising, we will have it. Do you have something you’d like to sell? Contact us at the chamber for more information.

Lastly, this is a car show, so we don’t offer games for the little ones or carnival rides. This show is for the more mature who enjoy a stroll down main street to admire other’s handy work. If you are looking for a festival, be sure to come back on the second Saturday in May for our annual Tabouleh Festival!
